The Health Care Unit at Roanoke United Methodist Home is fully licensed by the Virginia Department of Health. By offering intermediate care, we provide residents with 24-hour nursing care. This level of care guarantees that our residents have assistance with all activities of daily living while preserving their dignity and enhancing their security. Laundry services, housekeeping, medical transportation, three meals per day, snacks and cable television are all services included in your choice of private or semi-private rooms. Our activities department works in small groups or one-on-one with our health care residents using a therapeutic approach.
