Roanoke United Methodist Home offers a convenient and comfortable respite care program. This program allows people to join us for a temporary stay at any level of care. Daily rates are available to accommodate either a short or extended stay for someone not yet ready to move in permanently. Respite stays can be used for recovery from a short-term illness or surgery, security during inclement weather, or a much-needed break for a caregiver. Respite stay residents will enjoy a fully furnished private room with private bath complete with linen service. Three deliciously nutritious meals are provided daily as well as afternoon and evening snacks and desserts. Residents are also invited and encouraged to participate in activities to get involved and to meet potential neighbors in the community. The level of care and the respective daily rate will vary based upon the need of the resident. A temporary stay is also an excellent opportunity to see what we’re all about before making a long-term commitment.
